While in Florida, we were taken for a mid afternoon lunch and music jam session. The beauty of Florida is they have really great ingredients and cuisine that we in the PNW forget about. Taylor’s Farmhouse is just not a restaurant, it’s a gathering place, with outdoor patio, music stage, live entertainment, cornhole boards and a huge property with food grown and delivered right to your plate. The menu is massive, which makes it soooo difficult to choose when you are a foody like myself to chose one thing. So I didn’t, I chose three things!! The wings were delicious, tasteful. The fish tacos were incredibly juicy and crispy at the same time. And the salad was meant to feed a small army…with tender chicken and those fresh toppings once again. They know how to mix drinks, pour beer and it’s the ideal place to get a few friends together, sit back, enjoy great food, share a few pitchers of beers, and listen to the crowd all enjoy the live music.
Not a fan of the recent changes under new management. If it’s not broken don’t fix it. Still has the same friendly staff and rustic ambiance but the mediocre barbecue replacing many favorites (such as the whisky chicken and flank steak) on the menu gives it an air of out of touch corporatism
This was our second visit and had another good meal. The first time I had the leg of lamb and this time I had the beef ribs, both were excellent. The outside area around the for place and stage is also enjoyable. Not sure how this would be in the warmer months.
Highly recommended! The food is absolutely delicious, great atmosphere, excellent customer service! Carlos was fantastic and very courteous, his food recommendations were spot on. If you go visit, please ask for him, he will make your visit worth while! I will definitely come back again! 10/10 👍🏻
Excellent atmosphere, food was consistent comfort food very tasty and presentable. Definitely not a fine dining experience laughed and shared by the locals.
The food was great and the wait wasn't long. I think the portion sizes were perfect. I got the fish tacos which were delicious. I'd definitely go back again to try some of the other menu options.
The family-owned and operated Taylor Farmhouse Cafe is unlike any other in South Florida. Imagine an upscale Cracker Barrel, in a wooded setting, with a gourmet menu. You are free to take out, dine in one of the rustic farmhouse dining rooms or porch, or at a table out on the grounds. Fire pit is blazing in the evening, and there is live entertainment at the outdoor stage in the evenings. Generous portions of delicious, carefully prepared food. Much of the produce is hydroponically grown on the premises. Friendly, engaging wait staff. This place is a hidden gem!
Went out for my birthday, started with 4 appetizers cause they all looked amazing ( and they were). Then two dinners that we're just as amazing. Our server was great and the live music was pleasent. After dessert we sat by the bonfire and enjoyed the music, company, and atmosphere. And all that food was only around 100$ we will return frequently 😊
